βοΈ Binding Educational Platform Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "You", or "Your") and Ardent Education Foundation ("Foundation", "We", "Us", or "Our"), regarding your access to and use of the HCMS Portal (Hauna Curriculum Management System), including our mobile applications, web portals, APIs, and associated educational services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, logging into, or accessing the HCMS Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the application.
2. Authorized Institutional Access & User Roles
The HCMS Portal is an enterprise education management and early-childhood curriculum platform. Access is restricted to authorized representatives of affiliated educational institutions and verified parents/guardians:

Authorized to record classroom attendance, assess developmental milestone checklists across 10 curriculum themes, complete professional training batches, and communicate with parents.
πΌ Academic & Field Staff
Authorized to conduct school implementation audits, review onboarding funnels, inspect classroom checklists, track book logistics, and coordinate training schedules.
π¨βπ©βπ§ Parents & Guardians
Authorized strictly to view the attendance and developmental progress of their enrolled child, participate in Mother Workshops, book PTM consultations, and read official school circulars.
3. Account Security & Credentials
- Credential Confidentiality: You are responsible for safeguarding your registered phone number, username, and authentication passcodes. You agree not to disclose your login credentials to unauthorized third parties.
- Cryptographic Protection: User passcodes are cryptographically hashed using industry-standard SHA-256 algorithms. Our personnel cannot view or retrieve your plaintext passcode.
- Unauthorized Activity: You must immediately notify Ardent Education Foundation at hauna.preschool@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized access or security breach involving your account.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
π Proprietary Curriculum & Content Notice
All curriculum materials, pedagogical frameworks (including the 10-Theme early-childhood syllabus, H1βH3 developmental milestone matrices, and the 959-point Montessori checklist), training modules, student workbooks, lesson plans, software code, graphic designs, icons, audio-visual materials, and trademarks are the exclusive intellectual property of Ardent Education Foundation.
Under these Terms, you are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content solely for legitimate educational activities within your affiliated school. You strictly agree NOT to:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, rent, or lease any curriculum guides, assessment checklists, or training videos.
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or derive the source code of the mobile application or web portal.
- Use automated scrapers, data-mining tools, bots, or automated extractors to harvest student data or platform materials.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or trademark logos from printed or digital materials generated by the system.
5. Integrity of Educational Records
- Teacher Responsibility: Educators and academic coordinators are responsible for the factual accuracy and ethical integrity of attendance logs and developmental skill evaluations entered into the system.
- No Tampering: Modifying student milestone records or attendance entries fraudulently constitutes grounds for immediate revocation of platform access and formal institutional escalation.
- Parental Viewing: Developmental evaluations reflect formative, age-appropriate observations conducted in preschool classrooms to guide child growth and do not constitute formal psychiatric or clinical diagnoses.
6. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the HCMS Portal to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law, including child protection statutes and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, trojans, or harmful software designed to disrupt platform operations.
- Impersonate any person, employee, mentor, school principal, or parent.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse teachers, staff, or parents through the platformβs communication or feedback channels.
- Attempt to bypass multi-tenant security boundaries to access student or school records outside your authorized campus assignment.
7. Zero Advertising & Child Safety Standards
In strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Families Policy and international child safety standards:
- The HCMS Portal is 100% ad-free. No commercial advertising, sponsored placements, or behavioral tracking scripts exist within the application.
- The platform does not feature in-app purchases, micro-transactions, or gambling mechanics.
- All peer interactions are strictly authenticated and moderated within the school ecosystem; there is no unmonitored public social network.
8. Service Availability & Third-Party Services
- Uptime: While we endeavor to maintain 24/7 service availability, the HCMS Portal is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Periodic maintenance, cloud infrastructure updates, and network interruptions may occur.
- Third-Party Integrations: Virtual training sessions and parent workshops may utilize third-party communication tools (such as Google Meet). We are not responsible for third-party network outages or software incompatibilities beyond our reasonable control.
9. Account Termination & Suspension
- Termination by User: You may discontinue your use of the application at any time. You may request account deletion as outlined in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
- Termination by Foundation: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate platform access immediately, without prior notice, upon:
- Breach of these Terms or institutional policies;
- Termination of educator employment or student withdrawal from an affiliated school;
- Any fraudulent, unauthorized, or security-compromising activity.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ardent Education Foundation and its trustees, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to access the HCMS Portal, unauthorized access to user transmissions, or loss of operational data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
